Links to documentation of the university’s official accreditation status, as well as to the most recent decennial self-study and periodic review report, are provided below.
Background
Every ten years Cornell undergoes an institutional self-study and hosts an evaluation team appointed by the Middle States Association Commission on Higher Education (MSA/CHE) to reassess our accreditation status – most recently during the 2010-11 academic year. At the mid-point of each decennial cycle, the university must provide MSA/CHE with a Periodic Review Report.
Accreditation Status
On June 23, 2011, the Middle States Association Commission on Higher Education reaffirmed Cornell’s accreditation and commended the institution for the quality of the self-study report and the quality of the self-study process.
